How to order?

Find your images of interest by browsing the galleries by type of image (exclusive, empirical, other) or by subject. Please note that each image has detailed (additional) information, which you can find at the “info by image” menu.

By clicking the “buy” button below an image, the product will be added to your cart.

To view the contents of your cart, please navigate to “your order” and view the images you’ve already selected.

submitting your order

If you are a new customer, please provide us with the necessary details by filling out the form before clicking the “submit order” button. Existing customers only need to submit their reference number and their e-mail address.

confirmation of your order

Each order is confirmed by e-mail, followed by a phone call or a second e-mail to confirm your details.

finalizing the order

Following your confirmation (in writing or by e-mail) of the quotation and license agreement, the order is final. Please note that in case cancellations are made after this confirmation, you will be charged an amount of 80 euros.

receiving the file(s)

Usually within in 24-hours. Product delivery will vary depending on the size and number of images purchased. Possibilities include FTP, wetransfer, DVD or CD. Please note that advance payment is required from new clients outside the Netherlands in order to receive the images. Existing customers will receive an invoice together with the image files ordered.

Prices

Prices vary depending on the types of images concerned. Prices exclude tax and are given in euros. The term ”editorial photography” refers to the images in a magazine or on a website that are not used as advertisements.

The prices mentioned are based on editorial or personal purposes only. If the purpose of usage varies from the fixed price conditions you are invited to ask for a special quotation.

prices on request

In case the purpose of usage varies from the fixed price conditions or prices that are described as “on request only”. They vary depending upon the total costs and effort it took to create the images. Should you wish to order a larger number of images, this will be taken into account. The quotation will also depend on the preferred usage terms, and to this end the correct licence needs to be determined. After submitting your order, you will receive a quotation.

Price details will be enclosed in a customized quotation that needs your confirmation. Please note that in case you cancel your order after confirmation (when the order is final), you will be charged an amount of 80 euros.

licences

All the images are available under a right managed licence, which means that the images are restricted in terms of usage. There are limitations on placement, size and duration of use. Determination of the right managed licence agreement will depend on the information you have submitted, such as usage region, terms (purpose, media) and frequency. Below, you will find a set of proposed licences that illustrate various possibilities.

editorial – single-use

The qualification ”editorial photography” refers to the images in a magazine or book that are not used as advertisements. “Single-use” refers to the frequency of use, which will be once only. Examples include images used as illustrations in magazines, on covers or in newspapers.

editorial – online media

The qualification ”editorial photography” refers to the images on a website that are not used as advertisements. “Online media” refers to the frequency of use, which will limited to a year. Examples include images used as illustrations in online magazines, or digital applications.

commercial

Commercial images are images used to illustrate – and usually sell – a service or a product. Examples include pictures that are used in advertisements (or as part of an advertisement) and images implemented in a business logo or corporate identity.

personal – digital

Personal images are used for personal, non-commercial goals. The image must not be used in advertisements, resold to third parties or provided to third parties. These images are intended for display on personal computers, or for personal presentation. Examples include images that are used in a powerpoint presentation.

personal – large prints

These images are intended for display on your own wall. Examples include images that are treated as works of art. These works are printed and finished by marsprine only.

exclusive (editorial only)

This licence has a limited scope and is restricted to specific fields, for instance in terms of context or time. Please note that the term ”exclusive” does not refer to sole and unique ownership. Also note that no copyrights shall pass. Examples include images that are added to illustrate a trend or a popular theme and of which you are granted the exclusive use in a pre-defined period, with the specific exclusion of other parties.

payment details

Payments can be made by means of a bank account transfer or via PayPal.

payment – new customer

From the Netherlands: You will receive an invoice together with the image files you ordered.
Outside the Netherlands: Advance payment is required in order to receive the images.

payment – existing customer

You will receive an invoice together with the image files you ordered.

obtaining the file(s)

Following payment, you will receive the files as swiftly as possible. Delivery may vary, depending on the size and number of the images (FTP, WeTransfer, DVD or CD).

additional costs

When files are transferred through FTP or WeTranfer, file sizes must not exceed 1 GB. For each CD or DVD, a fixed amount of 5 euros as well as additional shipping costs will be charged.
